About Us
"Meaning of Araya"
Araya Retreats is a faith-driven men’s wellness experience designed to restore the body, sharpen the mind, and renew the spirit.
Rooted in the meaning of Obadaraya — “My God makes my body, mind, and spirit well” — we bring together fitness, holistic health education, and Christian spiritual formation to help men become whole.
Each retreat blends movement, nutrition, recovery, teaching, and brotherhood in environments designed for clarity, connection, and transformation. We exist to help men live healthy, purposeful lives the way God designed them to — strong in body, clear in mind, and grounded in faith.

Our Story
Araya Retreats was born from a simple but powerful truth: men are busier than ever, yet less well than ever. Our wellness expert, Dr. Banji Awosika has spent decades helping sick people get healthy, our team realized the real opportunity was prevention — helping men stay well through faith, fitness, and holistic education.
We saw men leading families, building businesses, and carrying heavy weight, yet lacking a space to recharge, reflect, and reconnect with God and themselves. So we created that space. A place where men could step away from the noise, strengthen their health, deepen their faith, and find true brotherhood.

Araya is more than a retreat — it’s a return to wholeness. A reconnection to purpose. A reminder that God designed men to live well in body, mind, and spirit.

Our Mission
Araya Retreats exists to help men cultivate complete wellness — physically strong, mentally clear, and spiritually grounded.
Rooted in faith and supported by holistic health education, our mission is to guide men toward the life God designed for them: a life marked by strength, clarity, discipline, and purpose.

Through immersive retreat experiences that unify movement, nutrition, recovery, and spiritual formation, we equip men to take ownership of their health and lead from a place of wholeness — not burnout.

We believe that when a man becomes well in body, mind, and spirit, he becomes a better leader, father, brother, and believer. Our mission is to create the environments, the community, and the guidance that make that transformation possible.
